On the afternoon of April 19, 2021, the Construction Promotion Conference of the National Biopharmaceutical Technology Innovation Center, the National Third-generation Semiconductor Technology Innovation Center, and the National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Innovation Development Pilot Zone (hereinafter referred to as "One Zone and Two Centers") was held at the Jinji Lake Conference Center of the Suzhou Industrial Park Expo Center.

The construction of "One Zone and Two Centers" is an important measure for the country to implement the innovation-driven development strategy and strengthen the layout of strategic scientific and technological forces. It is also a major platform for Suzhou to base itself on the new development stage, implement the new development concept, build a new development pattern, effectively enhance the function of scientific and technological innovation origin, and build a modern industrial system with high quality.

At the meeting, 104 science and technology projects were centrally signed and started, with a total investment of nearly 20 billion yuan, and more than 85% of the projects involved three major emerging industries, including the science and technology project of the Heshub Blockchain Research Institute.
